If you have a 4wheelparts locally , they usually have them in stock. I picked all 4 of mine up with no problems.

Granted some people at 4wheel parts arent as helpful if you are only buying fog lights. seems like they dont give you the time of day unless you are buying a 16" lift kit, rims, and tires installed by them. Bad customer service here in vegas personally.

Ik there is one like an hour or so away from me here in Ohio. But I'll look around a lil more on site. I've ordered stuff from them before and never had any problems.

Can't say anything about there quality, but I do know what its like being a college student and only working part time.. Those prices are per light..
I run a set of Hella 500s and love them, I got last year for $55 a pair, I think its $60 now.

Yeah Ik I also have problems when I buy stuff bc I always buy quality, or what I think would be best quality for the buck. Where did you get your Hellas? I haven't looked into them much. What wattage are yours and do they have rocks guards?

Hella's can be bought anywhere. Pepboys, checker, autozone, walmart all sell them here in Vegas. Call around and find the lowest price. Some places might price match like pepboys.

I can't remember where I ordered them from, but somewhere online. I think they are only 55W but plenty bright enough and seem to be good quality from the set I run now, and the old sets I had on my old XJ, and I am pretty sure they are upgradable to 100W, they do not have the metal/plastic grid like covers, but come with full snap on plastic covers.

If you are putting them on the roof get driving lights. Keep the fog lights down closer to the ground like on your bumper. I just got a set of hella 500s for the roof my self. Just waiting for the bar to come in. I tested them out and they are as bright as the sun.

I personally love my Harbor Freight 100W lights on my roof rack

http://www.harborfreight.com/off-roa...stem-3029.html

They are $30 for the kit and comes with the two lights and wiring and a switch. They are bright as all get out. I have 4 on the roof of my XJ

Just installed 4 Hella 500 driving lights on the roof of my xj. I got mine from the Quadratec website along with a carr light bar. Im happy with them so far they work great. You said you were looking for long range lights and the specs on the box state that the beam carries for over a mile.
