How do i remove the extra place for the fog light button on my Jeep XJ? The one between the rear wiper button and the power outlet? it's a 2000 XJ

 

Just pull the panel off and it should just pop right out. At least mine did.

 

pull the front trim pannel off. it is held with clips. just give it a tug and it should pop loose. it may make some bad sounding noises as it pops free. you may find it easier to move the shifter into neutral to get the panel out. then you should be able to just pop the blank cover out from the back and pop your fog light switch in its place. It's about a 10 minute job if you really take your time.
