How can I tell which remote key fob is correct for my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport?? They list P/N: 560 368 59AD and 560 368 60AD. Are they the same?? Is there somewhere on the vehicle that will give me the ID for the proper one ??
If I give my VIN to a dealer will they tell me?? A lot of questions, hope I can get an answer to them. Oh, by the way, I do have keyless entry but no remotes. I would like to keep the Jeep OEM.

I bought two used fobs from ebay seller "keylessentryremote" and had them programmed at the dealer. My Jeep is a 2000 sport and the fobs are 56036859 AD. His site will tell you what fits. My dealer quoted me $125 for a new one and I got the used ones for $20 each shipped. Good luck

I just bought one online for $18 too. The thing is I can't find anyone to program the sucker for less than $50. What a racket!

I ran into the same thing with the programming ripoff. I ended up buying a remote and the matching control board for $35 from the classifieds section here. Swapped boards in the truck and was good to go.
