Shouldn't be a problem. I think the foam just acts as a sound deadner.

If you use a good glue and don't stretch it to tight it should be good. Have you looked in the write up section to see if this has been done with instructions?

I just did mine camo with regular fabric about 2 weeks ago and its perfectly fine you just have to be carefull when your laying it down, syou dont get any wrinkles, mine does have a small wrinkle in the middle but thats because when i was laying the fabric on the foam backing there was wind and it got away from me...lol

I just replaced my old sagging liner with astroturf. Possibly one of the funniest things I have done to me jeep in about 2 hours and for less than 20$. Just make sure you use a wire or stiff nylon brush to remove all of the old backing, other wise you wont get anything to stick to it. 3M makes a good spray adhesive for it too, holds up the heavy turf no problem, only 10$ and used half.

i did my seat belts with a vise grip and then used a flat head that was wide to unscrew it!

I still have to finish the rear speaker enclosure. It may look like it is sagging but I assure you those are just shadows or damage to the backing.
