Have any of you out there run a flowmaster super 44 with your 4.0? Here is what the flowmaster website said about it:
Flowmaster’s Super 44 Muffler uses the same Delta Flow Technology found in our larger Super 40 mufflers. The Super 44 delivers a powerful rich tone and is the most aggressive, deepest sounding, highest performing four-inch case street muffler we’ve eve built! Constructed from 16-guage aluminized or 409S Stainless Steel and fully MIG-welded for maximum durability. 4" Thick x 9.5" Wide x 13" Long with inlet/outlet sizes from 2" up to 3". i'm running the super 44. it's accompanied by an eastern catalytic converter and is fully welded up from in front of the cat all the way back. with a new mandrel bent tailpipe. sounds good, noticed a little bit better drive because of the increased airflow.

Nice, it sounds pretty sweet. Thats the same thing I'm gonna do. There are gaps where the pipe enters in the current muffler and you can see and smell the exhaust pouring out. When I come to a stop you can smell the exhaust in the cab, not so good when Im driving around my 2 year old.... If you dont mind me askin how much did you end up paying for that setup?

my plans changed in the process but the muffler was about $100 shipped and the cat was $50 shipped. then had to get it welded up completely and have a new tailpipe bent; parts, labor, and whatnot for that was $200. not too bad IMO for a shot that does custom exhausts for hot rods and drag cars, and some quality welding. he also relocated the hangars for me so i have like a extra inch or two of clearance for all the exhaust.

Sweet I think i'm gonna get one of these. I used to have a grand cherokee with the 5.2 v8 that had a flowmaster 40 on it. It had the classic flowmaster growl/rumble when I took off. But that grand cherokee went byebye when I totalled it
.... But thats ok cuz now I got my XJ which I like way more. Im just trying to get that deep exhaust sound back. Hopefully the super 44 will help. Any thoughts on high flow cats? Waste of money or would it be a nice thing to throw on my new exhaust setup?
