Default flowmaster or magnaflow?

I need to get a new murfler, my flowmaster 50 has a broke flange inside and squealed sometimes, it sounds good with a good rumble but dies out when I get on the gas, I would like a little louder exhaust, I heard magnaflow is a lot better, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

IMHO, everytime I've heard Magnaflows, they seemed a little tamed to me. Now don't get me wrong, I love magnaflows, and will be installing one on my '07 Ford Focus simply because it is my DD to work, and I don't want a super roar but just a good rumble. However, my '91 XJ has the flowmaster Super 44 on it, and I LOVE IT. Paired with a high flow cat, the sound is perfect. Rumbling idle, growl up to 1500 rpm, tapers off a little at cruising rpm (2000-2500, which I like on long trips), but then totally roars above 3000 rpm.

If you really want to be loud and brave, and aren't afraid of the police, get the Flowmaster Super 10. Appriently it's their loudest model, and strictly made for offroad use.

I had a flowmaster 50 on my jeep. Thought it was lame. Got a flowmaster super 44 offroad series. couldnt be happier. has a nice rumble to it. Im adding a high flow cat soon too, and I know that will make it sound alot better. I highly reccomend the super 44

I love the sound of a 50 series. I didn't have the extra cash. So I cut the muffler off and put a piece of 3 inch in place off the muffler. Sounds great. I love the sound of a 4.0

flowmaster super 40 muffler, magnaflow 94405 universal converter, and a 35141 magnaflow exhaust tip sounds great together, make sure you buy it all in 2.25 inch.

Check out mudfrog in the vender section. I got my 2.5" mandrel stainless tailpipe, flowmaster super 44 muffler, and high flow cat from him for like $150 or something close to that, WAY CHEAP. Plus he has the CHEROKEEFORUM discount. Very good service and fast shipping too.

I'd go with the flowmaster. I have also heard good things about dynomax mufflers
