Default floors are rotted and needin to fix

so my floors are pretty and needin some fixin.. i was wondering whats the easiest and cheapest way to do this. i saw strykers build and that was helpful, but i was wondering where they got the sheet metal from and what gauge to use? And i was wondering what he used to like rhino line the whole floor when he was done.. also how hard is it to get the seats and the whole rubber floor mats out? thanks

You should be able to get the sheet metal from any autobody supply store I used 16ga when I did mine. It was actually a little thicker than stock and a little too difficult to bend into the right shape. If I were to do it again, I'd go 18ga which is I think what the stock floorboards should be

If you can weld, or know someone who can, it would be better to weld it. I used a duplicolor kit that came with a gallon of liner and a roller and paint tray for really cheap. I think you can get it at Walmart. It worked really well and IIRC, it was almost half as expensive as the other do it yourself stuff I looked at.

PM XJStryker he has some experience since he did his rotted floors. He may have a write up if you search for it. I am not sure.
