Well I did a water crossing yesterday and Cherokee dies as I was coming out of it, submerging the rear. Not sure how deep, but as we got pulled to dry land water came sloshing forward. Anyways, pulled carpet out today and not sure where to go from here. I was wondering what you guys have done. Pros and cons

Next time you make a thread, wait more than 4 hours to get pissed off there have been no replies.
You've got a couple options really. You could pull the carpet, scrub it with purple power, then pressure wash it. With a little sun drying it'll look good as new. Or you could ditch the carpet and bedline. Thats about your only options.

Not sure what you're asking here? Start with the obvious, clean your floor. Take a wire wheel to any surface rust then prep and paint it with either rustolium or your choice of bedliner.

After I replaced my rusted out passenger side floor I painted the entire surface inside and out with Por 15 and then used a roll on bed liner. If I wasn't already half deaf I would of left it like that but I figured I would put the carpet back in. I installed sound mat under the carpet made from 1/4" duct insulation from the local Lowes which had a sticky back one side and aluminum on the other. It worked like a charm.
