Default Floor Vibration Upon Accelerating

I have been having a rough vibration whenever I accelerate. When I am on a hill and accelerating up it is even more intense. Had the motor mounts and all U-Joints checked and seemed to be good. Any ideas of what it could be??

Are you lifted? Is your DS straight? Vibration, or front end wobble?

I have a 4.5" Rough Country lift and there is no wobble just vibration. I didn't have this when I first put the lift on in May but after the second time I went offroading it got a lot worse.

I would double check all the driveline U-joints. Then test to see if the vibration happens in 1-2, 3, and Drive. If the vibration happens in all gears of the tranny that would lead me to believe its something in the drive train past the tranny (drive lines, U-joints, axles). I had a similar problem and it ended up being the rear U-joint between the driveline and the axle. That's my $0.02

yup. id be suprised if it wasnt your rear shafts u joint. at your lift theres (probably) too much angle in driveline. best fix is a SYE. you can do a TC drop but its really just a bandaid.

have you checked the joint yourself? all cause the shop said they checked u joints doesnt mean they actually checked all of them. maybe they just check u joints in hubs and not your drive shaft? any play or slop in a joint will translate as vibes. crawl under jeep, twist driveshaft and watch joint for aforementioned slop.

no prob. at 4.5" theres very little chance your not wearing out the joint prematurely. maybe when it was checked it was good, but has since developed an issue. like i mentioned a SYE id a very common upgrade at your height.

do you have a 231 or 242 TC? difference being a 231 will only have "part time" 4wd while a 242 will have both "part" and "full time" options.

yup.. good and bad. good for everyday use, bad cause they're harder to get SYE kits for, though a hack n tap (HnT) is still an option..

i wouldnt jump on sye just yet...iv had many floor vibrations, ill make a list
front drive shaft u joints(only vibes above 50mph)
exhaust resting on crossmember(you might also hear it)
a bad tranny mount could also cause some vibrations if bad enough
if all thats good i would get a hack n tap. which should eventually happen anyways even if that is not the problem. good luck!
