while ive still got time before work...i was just outside checking out the strenght of my fenders and what not and found my pair of sheet metal clippers and clipped a small section of the fender just to see if it could even be a possibility that they would work good...well they did so now im anxious to just run out there now and hack the crap out of my fenders so i can stuff in my 31's real nice...anyone know if this is a good idea or not?? ill be doing the cut and fold and putting molding on over the fold..

Hell yeah it's a good idea. I did mine and I love it. You don't need to cut and fold the front though, but I am assuming you are talking about the rear.

well yea i was just going to cut and fold the front too because i figured i would screw something up when cutting on a line with the big metal scissors lol...i think it would look more like a 5 year old did it.

Yeah why not? How the hell you think they make the wheel opening on a stock car? Cut what's needed, make some relief cuts, then fold the lip over for strength. Repeat as needed.
