Everywhere I look for parts seems to list everything differently (mainly Ebay). I know that most parts are interchangeable from year to year, but I have one in particular I need help with. Will a header panel from a 1991 fit on my 1990? It seems like a stupid question, but every time I see something listed it always starts at 91 and works up to 96 or 97. Am I retarded or do they just not bolt up?

think about it this way. they made xj's since 1984,.. some body design but they changed interiors and exteriors to modernize them through out the years.. it wasnt till 2002 that jeep stopped making the XJ.
thats a hell of long time to run a boxy body style.
So to answer your question.. Yes.. 84-96 should work
