First drive
Ok guys I got my girl running and cleaned. I took her out for her first drive, Holy crap she drives horrible rocks, rolls a ton of play in the steering. I'm almost afraid to go over 45. Is this normal for the cherokee, am I just use to the way my old car drove or is this an indication of a problem with suspension and steering?

As for the body roll, make sure your sway bars are still connected. A lot of people take their sway bars off to get more flex.

depends, what was your old car? if it was a car, you can expect an entire different ride from an XJ. there is no comparison. an SUV will have a higher CG than a car and will handle completely different. like apples and oranges. doesnt mean there is something wrong only that they are different types of vehicles and it will take some getting used to.

last car was an XB, but have driven just about everything from a 66 mustang to a box truck... Best I can describe it is my dad had a late 80's ford Pickup and it was like driving that with the bed loaded to capacity, more floated around corners than turned. as for anything else this truck is bone stock except for the stereo everything else looks unmolested.
