I thought for sure my oil leak was my rear main, but it was in fact my oil filter adapter. Try searching "oil filter adapter" and good luck getting the Torx bolt loose, it's a bear

Valve cover leak will look like a rear main, so check that first. Also, the oil filter adapter is another common leaking area. Additionally, ive had a dizzy gasket leak, and ive mistaken it for the oil filter adapter. Check those places as well.

If it's small you could try Lucas stop leak in it. That worked with my jeep for a while. It's a temporary fix but I'd do it till you can find the time to fix it.

Well like a Harley, if it's not leaking it's not a jeep. LOL
Anyway, rear main, oil filter adapter and valve cover have always been a culprit in leaky 4L. All three of which are rather easy to do. Being as you have a 4 lift, pulling out the oil pan will be much easier than say a stocker XJ.

Oh and If your doing the rear main I did it its not that hard the one thing that I didn't do but I wish I would have is loosen all the bolts that hold the cam and make sure you torque them back down (mexican torque wrenches aren't the right way of doing it)... That's another thing I need to do so I got to pull the pan off again and torque them down. If you don't have one you can rent one from an auto parts store.

its not a small leak so im going to fix it in the next week or two ,its not a big deal for me seeing as i can throw it on the lift at school and fix it in a nice heated shop.
