the best way to check on achieved lift height is to measure from the center of the hub (or center cap) to the bottom fender, that way it doesnt take into consideration the difference of tires adding or subtracting from lifts.
I just did my bastard pack lift yesterday myself. using my XJ main and the bottom leaf and 3 top leafs from a 96 S10 2wd ex cab 4 leaf spring pack I netted 4" lift over stock or a 5" lift over my sagging height.
my center of wheel to bottom of flare measurement in the rear is 21.5" if I remember correctly. I checked it yesterday but I will do it again tomorrow if I remember. my roomate has a stock 2000 XJ with little if any sag so I have a good camparison to use for a baseline stock height.

I am hoping one day this week I can get him to park his next to mine so I can take some pics of both

Im lazy so measuring that stuff prolly wont happen... (plus i dont have a tape measure) For sure not untill the weather gets better... lol

^Dont know how it flex's yet, but the ride is about what I expected. Not to bad unless it's a sh!tty road.
