Default Finally done with the '00 XJ- Pics & List

I want to thank the board for answering all my questions as well as for the wealth of information I was able to look up and put to good use.

This is goign to be my daughters DD back and forth to school.

New stuff as follows:

Reman Head 0331
Reman shortblock
New Lifters, push rods, rockers, guides and braces.
New oil pump, oil pan, gasket.
New Waterpump, thermostat, thermo housing, radiator cap, hoses.
New fan clutch, new electric fan
New Trans cooler lines.
New Serp belt
New Brakes, Rotors, calipers
New wheels & Tires (Be Nice, she picked them out...)
New battery.

$15 Works Car wash, took a torch to all the external plastic molding to remove the oxidation and then coated with "Pig Spit".

Sure. If you have faded, oxidized trim just take a propane torch over it. It burns off the oxidation and restores it to pretty much like new.
There are several videos on YouTube demonstrating the procedure.

Good job. Wheels & tires are OK, things like that personalize it and make it "yours".
