these were my engine mounts. guess jeeps arent the same as trophy trucks...



and now for the questions, i have a 96 xj sport witha 4.0 and auto tranny, i have chevron dexronIII/mercon. in my manual it calls for dexronII or mercon, depending on the trans, not sure what to use?

also, my 'part time' light is coming on when im not in 4wheel, it comes on faint and gets brighter as time goes by, and as i crank up the RPM's, im guessing bad ground? anyone else have these problems? help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys!

 

Dex III should be fine, as far as your 4wd light, there is a switch on top of the t-case, it is prob on the way out.

would it light up depending on rpm/time like that? also, it doesnt illuminate as brightly as when actually in 4wd, but it still gets somewhat bright, also, is it okay to mix dexron2 and 3?

 

Dex III/Merc is the same thing as Dex II/Merc. I don't even think you can find Dex II anymore. Always a good idea to clean grounds and keep em fresh. The connections to the actual gauges/dummy lights could be dirty. You could take apart the dash and clean all connections there.

And on another note, DANG that is one messed up motor mount haha

 

then is it cool if i just pour some dexronIII when assuming theres already dexronII in there? and yeah, jumped a little too hard last time wheeling. hahaha
