Fender trimming, but keeping stock flares
Need to trim my fenders to fit my 34s.
Does anyone have or know of any links to re-attaching stock flares? How high do you trim in the front? And do you use the same backing plate? Maybe mark the holes, drill, and use the same hardware to attach the flare to the plate?
For the rear, I'm going to cut and fold. I saw a guy who drilled a few holes through the top of his rear flare and screwed the flare to the body. Any other ideas?
TIA
Here's a shot of the heep

I like what this guy did.. except I am going to use sheet metal to keep the shape and extend it in to the fender well (attaching with self tapping screws) to keep mud out from behind my fender.
he used pop rivets.. to hold on the rubber/commercial floor trim
