ok so i just bought an 89 jeep cherokee. this summer im adding a 3" suspension lift kit on it but i cant decide if i want to trim my fenders or not
so i did a little bit of photoshoping but that only made me think about it more so what do you think?

i say depending on what you are going to do with it, if its going to be trailed alot then yes trim it, if it spending most of its life on the street i say leave em' ...its really comes down to personal preference and the look that you are going after. good luck and keep us posted wiht pictures if you do................mine are already hacked but i am not in it for looks thats for dam sure

I think the only way I would trim them would be because I was about to put on wider beefier after market flares. That keeps the local law happy and and it helps keep the rocks from bounching off the side of the jeep.

cut your fenders, then move your flares up. trim them at the body line. it'll look good. or you can install some tj flares.
bushwhackers are way too expensive and only look good if you have 15 inch wide tires.
