Fender Flares
I removed the stock fender flares from my 94 Cherokee Country, and I also removed the plastic fender liner from the wheel well too. Without those liners I'm just throwing mud and dirt and stuff up into the fender, and some is landing on my door hinges. When I open the door I can hear the dirt in the hinges and stuff, should I worry about that causing real damage to my inner fender, or to my door hinges??

You will cause some damage if you throw mud into the inner fender and/or rocker. It will eventually rust due to moisture in the mud. Most people use a pool noodle to keep the mud out of the door jamb and inner fender

I was thinking of doing this, do you have any pics with flares off? As for the mud and dirt, I wouldnt leave it up there too long, may cause extra wear to the hinges. You could clean then and then spray with white lithium grease. Does anyone else have experience with this?

I was planning to remove them when I can afford bushwhackers cut out flares. I hope I can still run the stock wheel well skirts with them.
