Default Fender Flares?

Okay, ive got about 5 inches of lift on my xj and im running 32s. i got them to fit pritty good with minimal trimming for turning and what not. I was pleased with this until recently i have been introducing my xj to a little more rugged terrain. When i flex it up bad its trying to rip my fenders off. I dont want to trim my fenders completely because its a clean jeep and i know it works but i dont like the look of trimmed fenders.

I have two questions for those that my know. Believe me i have done research and cant find the answers to these questions.

1. I am noticing more and more xj with replacement fenders that, i may b crazy, but i swear they look like they have been takin from 97-04 wranglers. Wherever these are coming from they look pretty good but i cant find them anywhere.

2. Also, on the newer wranglers, they make a set of fairly flat looking fender flares that go out sideways but dont go down towards the tires at all. Do they make any like this for XJ?

The guys at 4 wheel parts are always helpfull but they dont seem to know of a set like either of these. So maybe Im crazy but any assistance would be nice. thanks

My friend also noticing that problem. But he had a xj with replacement fenders. I think I can refer him to so that you can discuss what will be the solution to it.

I got it figured out. They must be very new because I just found the flat fenders. Ive been checking periodically and couldn't find them but i just did. Bushwacker makes the set now of flat fenders for the XJ as well. Not sure about the price but they look pretty good i think. Check them out and let me know what u guys think.

here is the link!

Those don't look to bad. Unfortunately Bushwacker is synonymous with overpriced.

They break easily if you wheel near tree's. I had the cutouts and broke all of them.

im wondering how anyone knows if they break easily cause as far as i know they arent out yet just in the order stage. if someone has these id like to hear from them. I know that the other BW's break easily but i though these were made of different material than the regular BW's. And i think the flat fenders look great and look like they would offer some better protection.

I'm not a fan of the cut up fenders either. But man if you start wheeling and using that jeep in ways you never thought you would, which you will. The Bushwackers brake so easily.
They are clean and what not. But look at the jeeps in the ads. They don't have single scratch on em. That's a pavement queen. It is clean lookin though. But like the fella above said, "$375 for plastic?"
I like what POSJeepXJ is doing with fenders.
If you have the patience after making yourself a pair. I'll buy a set from ya.
