Default Fender Flare brackets

Question for anyone who knows the answer.

What size are these machine screw things in the stock fender brackets?

I know they're an inch long when they're not broken, but I'm looking for the width as well. I found these:

at Advance, but I need the nut to be larger, to hold the inner fender lining in place, like the stock nuts do. Has anyone had to buy new hardward to reattach these things? If so, a friendly point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

All I did was grind out the old broken bolts and picked up some stainless steel nuts and bolts and used those. The reason I went with stainless still is if I need to take them off in the future they shouldn't be covered in rust.
