just got a jeep cherokee. Put on the 6.5" lift from rough country and put on some 35s well now i am rubbing all over and i want to cut out as much of the fender without having to get fender flares does anyone know of a good write up for a set up like that
I used a skill saw to trim mine. I took off about 1 inch all the way around. The biggest problem you might have is the rear where your trimming somewhat limited based on where the body panel and wheel well come together.
I went to Autozone and got some of that plastic door trim and put in along the metal edge over all four fenders after I was finished. I am pretty sure they sell it at Walmart too. The trim gave it a nice, clean look when I was finished
