Fast!! Need to know battery cable specifics before trip to parts store

1998 Jeep Cherokee - 4WD 6

(I'm going to the parts store in 20 minutes! They didn't know the positive or negative sizes.)

Did you mean wire size? I know this was a few hrs ago just curious

Interesting point. American Wire Gauge sizes range from 0000 (4/0) to size 40. I'm not certain where the terminology changed but in America most people refer to the battery wires as "cables" and all other wires as wires.

None of the part's stores had much for the 1998 Cherokee. I ended up pulling off the batteries, and replacing with same wires.

P.S. Battery wire removal sucks.
