Default Fan rubbing

The electrical fan (drivers side) is scraping the engine and wearing holes into the center of that fan. Is there a slimmer fan I can put in that I can turn on manually to help cool my engine even more? I would like to run a relay with a switch inside the cab.

Shouldnt be touching the engine.. Check your motor mounts.

Got a pic? Is the auxillary fan mounted securely?

Everything is secure since recently I overhauled my radiator and cooling system.

About a year ago I bought Brown Dog motor mounts, but recently I have noticed that the drivers side mount looks a bit odd in that the engine mount seems like it could move from front to back and vice versa. I suppose I should examine it and see if there is something that can be done.

Also, I would like to change out the fan anyways or possibly use what I have, but connect to a switch. If I do change it out, is there a fan that is slimmer than what is OEM?

Since you recently overhauled it and if it didnt touch before.. did you check and make sure it was secure?

And the stock fan should be plenty thin enough. The problem isnt the fan, its something else.

And you can wire the fan to a switch. heres a write up.

It rubbed before as well, but I think it has something to do with the motor mount on the drivers side. Before I installed the new one, the old one was shot... there wasnt any rubber left. Now this new Brown Dog is great and seems to work great, but I see issues with it already even though its only been a year. I guess a call with a pic to Brown Dog might be in order.
