fan pulley/belt allignment

fan pulley/belt allignment
so my belt is riding towards the back of the pulley and screeching. i spray it with water and it stops. how do i get it to ride where is should be? the whole pulley looks like it needs to go towards the engine block about 1/4 inch. any ideas? thanks!
