I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee sport and when i turn off the ignition there seems to be a fan that continues to run. Any guesses at what this could be and how to fix this

 

Under the hood, could be the electric radiator fan.....under the dash, could be hvac blower. Check wires?

 

If it is the electric rad fan, then your relay could be going bad. Very simple.

Pop the hood, look for the box of relays on the passenger side. Lift the lid, and look for the fan relay. Pull it out. If your fan stops, that is your problem. Take it to napa get a replacement, and put the new one in

 

It is under the hood do you think changing the fuse could help

 

No but the relay might.

 

swap relay with aircon relay there the same, see if problem persists
