I sprayed the pulley down with Deep Creep this weekend. Seems to have quieted down the noise, and hopefully bought me 4 more days of driving till I drop off the Jeep Friday for repair work.

Gonna most likely need a new pulley and bearings, as well adding in the new ZJ HD fan clutch from Napa.

Hopefully this resolves all the issues.

That's what someone else said also, but this pulley is mounted to a bracket that sits between the AC compressor and alternator. Water pump pulley sits lower and on the block IIRC.

Well......the WD 40 / SeaFoam "fix" lasted all of 24 hours. Driving to pick up my sone after work was an interestiong trip......the pulley actually got louder. Sounded like it was gonna snap off. So, dropped the Jeep off at the mechanic this morning. Gonna get the pulley and fan clutch done, then bring it back Friday to do the suspension and mounts once all those parts arrive.

Well....pulley is ordered......$79 from the dealer. Had no choice......if I had time, I could have gotten this for like $12 online. Unreal!!!

Also, fan clutch was good.....the pulley was causing most of the issues.
