Default fan clutch

so i think the fan clutch on the jeep is not working right becuae once u start the car the fan goes to work. which is ok but i would like to have it working properly. how hard is it to replace and is it something that i should worry about.

With the engine off and cool, can you turn the fan fairly easiily? If so your fan clutch is fine. It will spin when the engine is running even if it's good. It just isn't locked in yet. To check to see if it is working, heat the center of it up,(by the spring), with a lighter or decent heat source. If the fan tightens or locks up it is ok. If not it's a piece of cake to replace. Loosen the screws that hold in your fan shroud then pull the four nuts holding the fan clutch to the pulley. Pull the fan clutch and the shroud out together, replace in reverse order. DONE !!!!

a 13m gear wrench and 13m normal wrench seen to be the easiest tools to use also
