Faded and worn Jeep decals
I have had a lot of jeeps with faded or chipped and worn off decals. The 4x4, sport, cherokee, Jeep etc. it looks like crap and rather than replacing them (I know it's not that hard), I wonder if someone has found a trick that works. I thought of a silver sharpie, maybe a chrome touch up paint etc? Any ideas would be great. Sounds stupid I know, but worth a try.

Well my honest opinion on this is, remove them. If the badges and decals are faded and chipped than I personally would debadge it. It looks sleek. I removed the pin striping and 4x4 decal from mine with a heat gun and they came off clean. If you really want to fix them, they sell pinstripe tape and 4x4 decals at the chain parts stores, advance, autozone, pep boys, etc... That's my 2 cents At least.

I have gone to vinyl graphics makers to have "Jeep" stickers cut with a plotter. They do a great job and it's not nearly as expensive as going to a dealer. They can cut them out of a wide variety of colors too. A lot of times you can find them on craigslist.
