Factory Fog Lights
Im looking to put the factory fog lights back on my jeep, but they stopped working years ago before I started driving it and my dad forgot why. Any ideas on what could have gone wrong or common problems with them? We're gonna take them apart this week and look at them, but I don't know what exactly to look for.

Burnt out bulbs, wires corroded away, bad connectors, somebody cut the wires, the connection to the main wiring harness of the jeep corroded, they shorted, blown fuse, gremlins attacked.
Have you looked at anything like fuses and such so we have a direction to go? There are lots of ways fog lights can die, but they are all real easy to see and take a few minutes to check all.
Go look, and let us know what you see so we can get the general idea and actually help. Right now it's like me saying so, my tv stopped working, can anyone tell me whats wrong?
Also add your year make and model. Not trying to be a dousche, but i listed the problems, and sounds saarcastic, but that's the best we can do without a little info, you know what I mean? Good luck, and seriously let us know whats up so we canb actually help you.

LOL. NP, mines an 88. yeah, start by checking your light wires going back, then continue til you get to where they connect to the main harness. if everything seems al right, checking some of the other stuff and keep us posted.

It may take a few days for me to get to that because of school and such, but I'll definitely keep you posted. I was gonna take a look today but I got tied up. I'll try my best to get to it soon.

Yeah, thats what happened to mine. They rusted out enough to make them stop working. The drain hole on the bottom isn't big enough I guess. Luckily I found some lights that look almost like the stock ones, so I might get those to keep the original look. The stock ones are Blazer lights, and Blazer still makes similar lights for cheap. I saw them on Walmart.com and they have pretty good reviews.
