Default factory alarm issues

I have a 92 xj and recently i have had issues with the horn honking when i get out of the jeep or when i lock it, is there a way of removing the alarm or at least disabling it?

the Alarm module is located under the left side of the dash to the right of the steering column, its black with a maroon connector, some are right out in the open some are hidden by a metal brace depending on the trim package.

to remove : start up the jeep and pull the connector and let the jeep run, there it is gone and no more Alarm system in the car.

I hope you find this helpful and informative.
