F150 springs and rear leafs ???
OK, first off I am looking at lifting my 95 cherokee (a bit rotton so off road only) on the CHEAP. Its a woods buggy so I have no reason to buy a "lift kit" im hoping to get 2-4" for 31's i have kicking around.
question #1
I've been researching this Idea of lifting cherokee's for quite a while now in various forums, and the process of lifting the front with f150 coils sounds good. but have heard mixed info on what years can be used. I've read 80's and ive read 90's will work ive also seen people say one or the other wont work! which is it???
question #2
The rear lift I see people do blocks or dakota/s10 leafs but since i really dont give a s..t about road ability I was wondering about just fabing up some longer rear shackles. It seams to me this would work well because it would keep drive line angle better, at the pumkin anyways. am I missing something on this idea?
Any and all feedback welcome on this. help me and future fellow jeepers

That page about the F150 coils needs to be erased off the net, I tried it. The lift was there but the thing hit so hard, and flex was non existent. The coils are shorter than your stock coils. Bastard packing the rear works pretty well though and you can just about use any spring you can get your hands on.

Im unsure of years but people do say the ride is very rough and stiff. When you say the flex was nonexistent did you disconect your sway bar. (im sure you did but have to ask) I just wanna knowfor my records and what f150 did you get the coils from?
