Default f-150 springs?

I heard f-150 coils will lift an xj around 3 inches, is this true?

Is it 3 inches though? I would think it would be a lot more.

It was said 2" but sometimes 3. Seriously though, think about it for a second. You are running truck springs on a small suv. It's gonna ride rough and you will probably end up swapping them out, wasting a few bucks. But if you like it rough then go for it.

I built this xj for a buddy that wanted to build one cheap. He had a set of f150 coils and some 31's, problem was they ended up being 4in lift coils for a F150 and it give us 7 in of lift. He wheels it alot and say's it rides rough but not any worse than a fullsize 3/4 ton truck.

HAHAH I can imagine letting the xj off the jackstands and being like ummm...I thought we were only supposed to get 3in of lift!?

Stock F-150 coils are actually shorter than Cherokee coils. The reason for the lift is the high spring rate. That is what cause the rough ride. I say go with ZJ v8 coil springs from an upcountry package. Same amount of lift with much better ride quality.
