Default f-150 springs

i have heard that f_150 leafs can give you 3 inches of lift. i was wondering if anyone has heard of this or knows what year model etc...

i seem to remember hearing something like this before aswell. Heres my advice, dont do it.

The ride quality would be horrendous.

A better option would be to build a bastard pack mixing s10 leafs with your current pack to achieve the desired lift height.

from what i recall its about 1.5"

actually you can mix and match your bastard pack to get almost any height you desire. I know guys running 4" with a bastard pack.

my springs are really saggin will the s-10 springs stiffen em back up or should i get new cherokee leafs when i get s-10 leafs

The S10 springs alone will solve the problem.

if they are really bad i would opt for a new set of leaf springs and since you want to lift anyways why not just go with already lifted leaf springs?

stock coils with spacers and blocks but i have 6 inch lift coils to put in in the spring and not sure what to do out bck yet....but with the saggin springs it is a pretty rough ride

just grab some new leafs to match up with your height up front.

thnx....im trying to lift it without buying lift kits or parts of lift kits to see how much i can do it for...to see if it is cheaper or just as much to buy a kit..and so far im at $25 so im doin alright
