Is there a place to install an extra temp guage (mechanical) without disconnecting anything? The sending unit I have is too large for the location of the factory sending unit on the back of the head. 1996 Cherokee.

any where in the water jacket you can plumb it in, i've always seen them installed in the water outlet.

 

I ran mechanical temp gauge from ECT sensor located by thermostat I installed 1/2 -1' and 1/2 ' T water pipe. Ran mechanical gauge from IP were LT side above LT nee to firewall to T and I have both mechanical and light, waring system.
