whats the worst that could happen if i dont fix my exhaust leak

The worst thing is fumes getting in the cabin,you can loose power,exspose wires and equipment to heat.

If its minor then you can live with it. If its major, ie: your Jeep sounds like a lawn mower with no muffler, then you might want to fix it. If its pre O2 senor you may be effecting you mileage and power.

You can damage you valves / head and possibly catalytic converter if you have one.
