exhaust manifold/header bolt and stud torque question...
i have a 98 jeep xj 4.0. im installing new gasket on it. when i do the torque on them with a torque wrench, will the setting be affected by using the longer extension and swivel on the torque wrench. didn't know if somehow it may not be accurate when using that stuff to do the job because they are in tight spots i have to use swivels on the torque wrench?????

I torqued all mine down to 24 lbs, though my manual suggested some be 23 and some 24. I used all sorts of extensions to reach my bolts, i hear it does effect the actual torque but shouldn't be too far off. Someone suggested at 75lbs and a 6" extension you may only be off by 1 or less.
