exhaust leak

exhaust leak

most every jeep i come across sounds like it has an exhaust leak. is this common because of the length of the manifold gasket? or is that just the sound that jeeps make?

probally the fact they are Prone to headers cracking.

i've read that pretty much every exhaust manifold on a cherokee cracks at some point, it's just how they are i guess lol mine's cracked

Exhaust leaks are usually caused by loose or missing head and exhaust bolts
Or their must be holes in the muffler/exhaust system...

check header

had mine checked had crack in it, had crack welded.

I just removed mine to replace freeze plugs mine was almost in 2 pieces...i bout a aftermarket off E-Bay with a lifetime guarntee.
