EXHAUST HELP!!
So, I recently purchased my first cherokee (not my first jeep) it's a 2000 with the 4.0. FORTUNATE for me I purchased it in non-running condition so I could admire all of the jerry-rigged jobs done to it. the problem I'm having now I believe to be exhaust related.
When i look it up online i see two o2 sensors pre-minicat and i see one or two post cat. (so cali emissions?) I have the dual manifold setup i believe it's called.
WELL, on mine, it looks like the manifold has two plugs in it, and then straight pipe where the mini-cats are supposed to be, passed the header it couples into one pipe and then a flange after the flange is one of the O2 sensors, continue down the pipe to the cat and post that is another o2 sensor.
WHO IS RIGHT? what should i do about this... the o2 connectors appear to be in the correct position AND I don't see any other o2 sensor connectors, unfortunate for me is that i can't find the correct pieces of pipe to replace my damaged one with.
any help is appreciated.
