I have a Rusty's 4.5 inch lift, now with 2 years of mostly DD on it. I have been off road a few times, but nothing hardcore as I am still open diff.
I don't know why folks are bad mouthing Rusty's, I have had no issues with mine at all. I have the long arm version. The Jeep is solid, it does have a bit more body roll now as the spings are a bit softer than stock, but the ride is great. High way manners are better than stock. I have not broken anything, and Rusty's even warranted a tie rod end that went bad just after the warranty expired. If you are thinking about Rusty's call him and ask the direct questions. I asked him directly about some of the folks bad mouthing him and his products. I was happy with his responses. If you need pics of his setup, let me know. I am very happy with the kit, ride and $$ spent.
Oh the only thing I added to the kit was the braided stainless steel break lines.
Good luck, call him let him answer your concerns... also everytime I have called, a real person answers that phone.
