if you want a bigger lift go with the RC if you want a smaller lift go with RE...both kits dont come with everything you need...IMHO go with the RE 3.5...its a good height to start with...if you go with RC 4.5 you will run into a lot of things you need to do that is not included in the kit...if you dont want to break your bank that hard go with the RE 3.5 or even the RC 3" lift...

why would you want 5.5" of lift as a DD...that just doesnt make sense...but yes you can add a spacer and shackle to the lift and get extra lift...

it doesnt really matter about the TC drop...its all the same idea....

id be more worried about the shocks...

cheapos, look into - rustys, roughcountry, and monroe

nicer shocks, look into - OME, and RE

What do you think about the DT3000 shocks they offer? I am about to come into some money in the very near future and I plan on lifting my rig. I was going to go with Rusty's 4.5"w/ 15x8 black rims and Dick Cepek 31x10.5r15, all this including the TC drop kit for $1400, but then I started reading in this forum and a couple others and I don't think I'm gonna go with Rusty's. To many nays and not enough yays. So, it's back to the drawing board. I am not looking forward to puttin a lift with stock rubbers. Prolly look a little funky dunky. I use my rig as a DD and weekend warrior. Not to crazy, but a little wild at times. What do you all think about Rancho shocks or Skyjacker?
