This whole switvh to E85(gas 85% ethanol 15%) or E 90 (...) sucks. ethanol only has 2/3 the BTU of gasoline. I have noticed that it made my Cherokee run hard and ping, you could really hear the pistons fire. I tried a bunch of fueal additives to the gas. I tried every additive and the only things that made an improvement are fuel injector cleaner and TURBO 108 OCTANE boost! its amazing. my jeep runs so smooth and is much more responsive in the accelerator. its about 5$ and they suggest running it with 16 gallons. doesnt hurt Cat or sensors. I have run one and a half bottles before and thats good and Ive run one 108 bottle with injector cleaner, talk about rocket fuel! does anyone do anything similar?

I have been considering some octane booster for the same reasons. It's hard to find a station around here that's not cash only that doesn't sell 10% ethanol gas and charge 10-15 cents a gal more. I wish the local walmart gas stations would start selling 100% gas locally like they do at some of the outlying cities.

ya you will never see that again. I did a huge research paper on ethanol. It will be in gas for ever cuz people think its the green thing to do but really its all messed up like the polotics behind it, try that 108 octane boost, you wont regret it. I spend an extra $5 every tankand throw it in its that great
