EV6 Fuel Injectors Installed
I ordered these a little while ago and I'm going to install them today so I'll post again on the results. I have a '99 and from what I read, these should go in no problem. A side note though, these are not 4 hole injectors, they are single hole design but they are EV6 and should have good atomization compared to the originals.
You sure they only have 1 hole cause the ford xf2E-CB4 injector sure does have 4, the other injector is the original out of a "99-01.

Yup, I looked when I first got them and I was surprised to find that they were not four hole but I figured I would try them anyway. They dropped right in today and so far I'm pleased. I didn't get a chance to do a full throttle test with them, nor did I hit all the gears but I think they are going to work out just fine. I'll start doing mpg tests soon to see how they fare. I'll get an obvious gain from just changing out old injectors for new ones but the 3.8L mustang ones might prove to be worthwhile..
Put my injectors in yesterday. Very easy to do. Seems to have a little more throttle response. Not much difference yet. Forgot to reset the computer. Will do that tomorrow and try and get my 50 restarts at work. Hopefully I get better MPG outta these.

Ok so far I am about 3/4s of the way through my first tank, I think I have gotten about 30 more miles out of this tank
Sadly, I will not be driving the poor jeep for a while my trans finally took a dump on me and will not shift into 4th

I put mine in today and it sounded like CRAP!
It sounded like my engine was choking and dying. Downshifting was horrible at stop lights, it revved so high at idle. Slow acceleration. Then i put stock back in, did the same thing for awhile, then got check engine light. I think what i did wrong was a i never reset the computer (unplug the battery). Should i try again, but this time unplug the battery after i install the EV6s?
right now i have the stock in, reset the comp, and the check engine went away and its perfect again.

thats weird
almost sounds like you were running too rich
anyways, yea whenever I installed mine I unplugged the battery
Also it is worth erasing the old ECU or PCM memory.
- Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground for 30 seconds. (This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory.
Reconnect the Battery Cable
Turn Ignition Switch to the “On” position but DO NOT start the engine
Turn Headlight “On”
Turn Headlights “Off”
Turn Ignition Key “Off”

No, only disconnect the positive terminal. I just posted the Jeep ECU reset procedures on the.
Correction: I Googled "how to rest the ECU/PCM on a Jeep". I read (somewhere) to touch the positive cable to a metal ground on the engine and not the battery ground. Quadratec tells you to "touch the positive to the battery ground" so now I'm officially confused as to which procedure to use. Heading back to Google now for more info.
Read this on JeepForum.com:
Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground (not the battery negative terminal) for 30 seconds. The engine block or the A/C compressor pump will work as a ground. This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory.
