Default error codes on my scanner? what do they meen?

Had problems with my 97 xj starting. No power to fuel pump. If I bypass the fuel pump relay I get power. I replaced the crank position sensor today and still nothing but.....my obd2 scanner is reading error codes. P1282...fuel pump relay control circuit. P1388...asd relay control circuit. And p1389...no asd relay output voltage at pcm. Does that meen I have bad wires in thoes circuits or does it meen my pcm is fried? Can someone please explain?

Why'd you change the cps? I'd be looking into a fuel pump relay.

Did you replace them after those codes appeared? And if so, did you clear the codes and read again? Just checking.

Do a real good job checking fuses, Even the little ones. #17? Check'm good. You might also take a look at the wiring to your downstream 02 sensor. (No harm in that). Should throw a code if they shorted and took out the asd fuse, but easy enough to take a peek.
