Hey guys I just bought a 98 XJ and it seems the guy that had it before me removed the factory fender flares to fit some 30x9.5 tires.. Either that or he tore one off while wheeling and decided to remove all of them. Anyway I went and got some at my local Jeep Recyclers and I'm planning on Re-Installing them after I clean and paint them. Is there any tips or tricks I should be aware of? Should I go out and invest in some good double sided tape or anything else? (read about that somewhere on here).. The guy left all but one of the brackets on .. so I got all 4 new (used) flares at the recyclers and the one bracket that was missing. I'm assuming they will just snap into place? I don't have to take the bracket off the body first to mount the flare do I?? Any help would sure be appreciated.. Only want to do this once if you ya know what I mean.. Thanks guys!!
