Default Engine type swap I6 to v6

I was looking for a engine for my jeep cherokee and i bought a v6 not knowing i would have to get new parts just to switch them.
What would i have to get other than motor mounts to go from my I6 to a v6?

Its a 92 jeep cherokee

You'd have to change alot including computer.... the computer in your jeep will think it has an inline 6 which is a different displacement then the v6 which could cause a lot of problems. I'm not sure about the wiring harnesses either, and don't have my manuals around me since I'm on a business trip right now... doing a computerized engine swap with different motors is a PAIN. worst case scenario is all new wiring harness, computer, transmission bell housings, etc. How complete was the V6? Cause if it doesn't have EVERYTHING on it you might have to buy alot of parts... Take all this with a grain of salt since I don't actually know what all can interchange between them since I don't have my manuals... your best bet would be to start doing searches to see what parts are the same between the two...
