engine temp sensor connector

engine temp sensor connector
New to forum thanks for having me.1996 xj 2 door 4.0 ho.have a engine temp senosr with a bad connector.Sensors good.Put paper clip into connector and it works but when the two meet it is a no go with the idiot light.factory replacement or ?.Thx for the time.
