engine sputter

Default engine sputter
when i first take off engine dies in and out and a popping nosie from under the hood is this a bad fuel pump?

check the fuel pressure. it will need to be about 31-39 psi.

it doesnt do it all the time only once in a while more and more latley though just after i start up and take off then its fine

check fuel pump and pressure and when was your last recent tune up and any CEL

plugs look good and no cel dont know when tune up was done last as i just bought it
