Default Engine sounds like a diesel.
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic.
It has a 4.0. Recently at idle my engine sounds similar to a diesel engine. Not sure if this is that classic "lifter tap" I've been hearing about. Opinions?

If it didnt I'd be worried. Pretty much normal but I'd start running synthetic to clean out the engine a bit just in case the oil passages to the valve cover are clogged.
