Default engine problem...i think. any ideas or help?

i have a 2001 XJ with the 4.0 I6 with 70k miles. last week i was driving home from school in az(to ca) when i started to feel what felt like a "hiccup" in the motor. like something was skipping. the engine light came on and about 10 minutes later my engine lost power. i didnt lose any rpms til i took my foot off the gas and it stalled. started it back up right away and it was fine for another 50 miles or so and it happened again.

used a code reader and it threw 8 codes at me.
P0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire detection
P0301 cyl 1 misfire
P0302 cyl 2 misfire
P0305 cyl 5 misfire
P0351 Ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction
P0352 Ignition coil B primary/secondary circuit malfunction
P0353 Ignition coil C primary/secondary circuit malfunction
P1391 Camshaft Position Sensor malfunction

i only feel the hiccup at highway speeds (60 and up) and it doesnt happen every time i drive it.

i have no clue at this point to even start looking for a problem.

I would check the CPS (crank position sensor) do a search on this forum and you will find plenty of info on it...Tj

I would start with camshaft position sensor cause code p1391 cps malfunction could cause all the other codes.

Since the fuel filter is a sock-style and attached directly to the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank, and the fact that the codes listed are not fuel system related.....

Your post makes no sense at all.

To the OP,
Test and/or repalce your Crank Position Sensor.

Also, do a search for "MisFire," it's been covered alot and there's some good info available.

So I finally got around to doin some work on it and replaced the CPS and the misfiring stopped.

BUT now that it is fixed, another problem came up. It still turns over for a while before it starts, even when its warm. any ideas where i should look for this problem?
